Latin singer Paulina Rubio.

I worked on this on and off for a couple of weeks. I knew the hair would take awhile so i drew it kind of small.

This was my first time working on smooth bristol. I think it came out alright.
Feel free to comment and thanks for checking it out.

Good question.I really should start keeping track. Maybe around 10 hours over a period of 2 weeks (I only have patience for about a half hour at a time).

Roger that *nerdy look*

I think I know how that's like...but for me, a drawing took like 3 months to finish.. even though I drew like 10-15 accumulated hours :P

You're welcome, and I do understand about tedious, hair has
always been an issue for me to draw.

Gorgeous!!! I'm trying to find Bristol paper here in Australia, did you like drawing on it? :)

Thank you very much.
I do like bristol. I haven't tried many different types of paper so I don't have much to compare it to. It does make shading pretty easy and it holds up well to erasing because it's fairly heavy. Vellum has a slightly textured surface and smooth is less textured making it good for fine details. If you can find it I recommend it.
